The key factors affecting the adhesion of embossing process
Today we will talk about the operation details of the embossing process in screen printing and the problems that will be faced in the process. As we all know, embossing process in screen printing is a general and simple operation process. However, in order to make the embossing process more perfect, there are many factors that need to be taken into account. For example: the inks, operation details. After testing and experiments, we need to consider the factors are: the hardness of the ink, the elasticity , whether mix the thinner with inks during operation,the operating temperature and the process mode (whether to paste another on the back of the fabric) and so on. We have selected some items of embossing silicone to test,below is our experimental data.

From the observation of this experimental result, we can see that the smaller the hardness and the greater the elasticity of silicone ink for embossing process, can pass a relatively high standard of water washing test. The embossing effect of silicone ink with minimum elasticity and moderate hardness cannot pass the high standard water washing test. Therefore, we can preliminarily realize that the hardness and elasticity of silicone inks play a crucial role in the embossing process.
